Psalm 1: The Two Paths

Psalm One is known as the "Gateway to the book of Psalms." It gives us one of the best expressions of truth on the meaning and summation of life. It also gives a great overview of the whole Bible. If someone asks you what the Bible is about, you can go to Psalm One to explain the meaning and purpose of the Bible. Psalm One reveals that there are just two groups of people: Those who are blessed, shown in verses 1-3, and those who will perish, shown in verses 4-6.
