Consider how this sermon is titled. Focus on that word "apology". In our culture it means "I'm sorry." But the biblical meaning of that word is vastly different.

The word "apology" literally means "from words". You can put it another way, an "apology" is really a verbal defense. You are defending what you believe to be true with your words.
